Emily - Sold
This little bear is very aptly named as the commonly acknowledged meaning behind the name ‘Emily’ is that it describes a 'diligent, industrious and creative individual' and, my goodness, how true this is of our sweet little Emily.
Emily is rarely to be found without her sewing basket as whenever she has the chance she loves to spend her time transforming discarded bits of fabric into beautiful gifts for friends or new clothes for herself (she made her apron from a very old handkerchief that when she noticed it was embroidered with her initial she just had to have !)
When Emily isn’t working on a project she likes to work on improving her sewing skills and practising and inventing new stitches.
If you choose to invite Emily to come and live with you she will bring with her her hand crocheted sewing basket, reels of cotton, hand needle felted hedgehog pincushion* and her sewing practise together with the hope that you will spend lots of lovely time together sharing ideas and creating lots of wonderful things.
